Founded in 2010, Sarswati Education and Welfare Society is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Focused on the border districts of Fazilka and Ferozepur, our organization is committed to providing skill development and educational opportunities to uplift these communities. Our mission is to bridge the gap between untapped talent and opportunities, ensuring that every student in these areas can aspire to a brighter, more empowered future. In 2018, we achieved a major milestone by being empanelled with the Punjab Skill Development Mission and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) for PMKVY. This affiliation strengthened our capabilities and allowed us to extend our services further. Over the years, we have successfully skilled over 10,000 candidates, equipping them with the knowledge and tools to thrive in an increasingly competitive job market. Beyond skill enhancement, we actively conduct seminars and workshops that address key social issues. A central focus has been raising awareness among women in the border areas of Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir. These initiatives empower women to overcome societal barriers and participate actively in their communities’ development. Our dedicated team operates tirelessly, even in the most challenging districts of Jammu & Kashmir, to bring education and empowerment to every corner of the region. These efforts are a testament to our resilience and commitment to fostering growth in underserved areas. The guiding force behind our organization is our president, Rajesh Pruthi, a prominent social activist in Punjab. His leadership is rooted in compassion and an unwavering dedication to social welfare. Over the years, he has been involved in numerous non-governmental organizations (NGOs), extending his support to causes that matter deeply to society. Notably, he served as the president of the national organization Bharat Vikas Parishad for two years. During his tenure, he spearheaded several impactful initiatives, including the distribution of rations to over 300 families during the COVID-19 pandemic. His fearless contributions during this challenging time, in collaboration with local administrations, have left a lasting positive impact. Furthermore, Rajesh Pruthi’s extensive experience in education management adds another layer of strength to our society. He is a valued member of the management boards of various well-known educational institutions, where his vision and insights continue to inspire positive change. At Sarswati Education and Welfare Society, our journey has always been guided by the belief that education and skill development are the most powerful tools for transformation.
